Juggernaut Drunk is Donny Specs on guitar and vocals, Hugh Burnside on bass, and Dave Freeman on drums. 

 

Formed in 2006, Juggernaut Drunk is the name we selected from a crude list of maybe five, scribbled on the back of a coaster at the Irish Pub, on the boardwalk in Atlantic City, NJ. We had just rehearsed earlier for the first time and wrote three songs, all of which would end up on our first LP, Stumbling from Jitneys (2010): they would become Broken Nose, Overpriced Real Estate, and Soda Pop Days. 

 

Since then it's been a roller coaster of influence and adventure with scars and weathering and rust, and then rebirth. Now we've ended up somewhere we never imagined; a spot where talent had nothing to do with our maturation but merely pure determination, and endurance, and survival.  A juggernaut through time and fog and space, with an eternal quest for the truth. Willing to destroy all in its path, if need be, to get to it. 

 

Our second album, The Human Fight, was recorded in 2013 at HumanRecordz and was awarded Album of the Year 2013 by Elephant Talk Indie Music Magazine.

Our latest album, Poseidon Mining Co., was recorded and produced by Milton Georges at 2 Ton Lucy Studio in Cranbury, NJ, and released on December 11, 2020.
